Help your lashes look great and last longer with these simple homecare tips:

– Cleanse lashes and eyelids with a gentle foaming cleanser and soft brush or lint free disposable lip gloss wands. Foaming cleanser and soft brushes are available for purchase at Foxie Lash and Beauty. 

– Do not pick, pull or rub lashes and lash extensions. Excess force and pulling can cause natural lashes to fall out faster than normal and cause thinning of the natural lashes. 

– Be careful with application of eye creams, oil based cleansers or other skincare products around eyes. 

– Use easy to remove eye makeup when you choose to wear it. Waterproof eyeliner, liquid eyeliner, mascara, glitter eye makeup are all tough on lids and lashes for removal causing extensions to loosen and fall sooner. Ensure ALL traces of eye makeup are cleansed before your appointment as excess cleansing takes away from application time and can cause retention issues with extensions. 

– Relax at your lash appointment. Try to avoid to much caffeine so as to prevent excess micro movement of the eyelid and lashes. Fluttering eyelids and lashes can cause poor adhesion as it’s tougher to secure an extension to a moving target 🙂 But I know we love chatting, too, so keep in mind to try and keep your eyes, face and hands calm as you talk. 

– Clean lashes the morning of your appointment to ensure excess oils, makeup or dead skin/other eye gunk is removed so my quick cleanse is effective – and remains quick!
